HookCI runs on your infrastructure, so you only pay for the agents you connect.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about plans, limits, upgrades and more.

What happens when I reach a limit?

The dashboard shows which limit you reached. Results you already have stay available until their retention period ends. Upgrade at any time to raise the limit.

Can I upgrade or downgrade later?

Yes. You can change plan whenever you like. If you move to a plan with lower limits, connections above the new limits need to be removed.

Is HookCI open source?

The HookCI agent is open source under the MIT license, so you can read and run the code yourself. The paid plans cover the hosted service: result routing, retention and the integrations.

What counts as an agent?

An agent is one HookCI process on one server of yours. It connects out to HookCI and runs the checks for the repositories you pair with it.

How does repository access work?

You install the HookCI GitHub App and choose which repositories it can see. Every option covers public and private repositories.

How long are logs and results kept?

Retention depends on the plan: 30 days on Developer and 90 days on Team. With the open source agent, results stay on your own server.

Can I use multiple Slack workspaces?

Yes, on the paid plans, up to the number your plan includes: 5 on Developer and 25 on Team.

What is included in deploy environments?

Deploy environments are named targets, such as staging or production, that HookCI can deploy to after your checks pass. Developer has 3 and Team has 10.

What kind of support do you offer?

Open source has community support through GitHub issues. Developer has email support and Team has priority support.
